Responsibilities of the Account Manager Media Agencies include

  • Identify and convert new, cross-sell and upsell advertising mail opportunities
  • Cultivate and successfully grow strategic customers to generate advertising mail revenue growth and renewals
  • Identify, contact & convert advertising mail prospects leading to new revenue opportunities
  • Support & inspire Media Agencies in achieving their advertisers business objectives and marketing challenges
  • Build and implement quarterly sales action plans helping you to achieve your sales objectives

 

The ideal candidate

  • Is in love with advertising, marketing, communication strategy, and more specifically data and targeted marketing communications
  • Has proven ability in storytelling and consultative selling skills
  • Is a passionate, strategic thinker who acts with agility and professionalism
  • Has the ability to create strategic plans with customers by providing a clear road map to reach defined success metrics
  • Is experienced at facilitating key relationships, coordinating complex implementations, and negotiating win-win renewal and up sell/cross sell contracts to help grow revenue and meet customers objectives
  • Is client oriented, ambitious, empathic, solution driven and a networker
  • Has strong abilities to close the deal
  • Is polyvalent with affinity with one or more sectors (FMCG, Cars, Home and Retail)

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor from accredited college or university
  • Strong working knowledge of advertising channels, including digital
  • 5+ years of experience in account management and/ or 5+ years of marketing experience
  • Track record of client relationship development
  • Bilingual FR & NL

 

Practicalities 

  • Reporting line : In this position, you will report directly to the Sales Manager inside the Sales and Marketing Business Unit
  • Sectors of activities : FMCG, Retail, Cars and Home
  • Location : Brussels, The Mint.
